An airline-wide IT system issue is affecting passengers booked on British Airways flights.

According to London Heathrow Airport, the airline’s main hub, check-in and baggage handling were affected by a worldwide IT glitch with a third party supplier.

The airline says the problem has now been resolved and no flights were cancelled. However, some passengers report that several flights are delayed because of this issue.

British Airways is based in Heathrow terminal 5, one of the largest airport terminals in the world. Almost 80 million passengers travel through Heathrow Airport per year.
